AD bigger crowds than ever this year, and 1 sec faster than my last performance 2 years ago. really pleased since i haven't done a half for almost 2 years and worried that i wouldn't be able to pick the pace up faster than my marathon pace.

jlucas chip time submitted, pretty happy with race as its my 1st half in 17yrs but started a bit further back than i wanted due to toilet queue's. will know better next time. as for the race it certainly lived up to its billing and although it wont be a pb course next time would definitly do it again. great weekend!

TheScribbler Fab, fab day! tried to keep it stead, but probably started a bit too fast. Got to mile 8 feeling okay, then started to struggle. Bottle of water from Tanni Grey Thompson again at 8.5 miles. A Fetchie shout out at 9 miles and I managed to pick it up again and then just grind out the tough miles. Think I got a 10 mile PB and knew I'd cracked it for that last mile!
