Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Pyewackett Very warm and forgot my inhaler so wheezing like a knackered concertina most of the way - fun though and a good atmosphere. La Radcliffe and Mo Farrah had finished before they even got us across the start line!

Boycie Shocker of a run. Too hot and too windy. Legs were tired after 2k. Hard to fathom how you can run a half marathon quicker than a pace you can manage for 10k, but there you go!!! Most other runners I spoke to were way off their PBs too, so not reading much into it...

The Rain King Day started well, had a good warm up, stretched etc, was on my own so i had plenty of time to have a prepare for the run. Got my replacement race number dumped my stuff and headed over to the start. By this time the sun had come out and it was already boiling stood about in the starting pen for a bout 20 min, tried to keep moving but it was a bit pointless with the amount of people there. Saw Karen and V in the pen behind (Didn't know it was them at first tho - just thought

SUPERWOMAN63 I love this event and did not want to pull out just because of my knee and so l will adopt a walk, walk, walk, run a teensy bit method today.
Weather was beautiful, crowds just as supportive and l felt okay. Got to 6km and knee felt gippy but l trotted along very slowly and FINISHED..........wahey see you next year.
