Bournville Harriers (BvH) is a relatively new, but growing Birmingham running club. Our members are all keen to continue to improve their running skills while ensuring that running remains enjoyable.
<p>
Many of our members have a wealth of experience – and plenty of stories to tell - which they’ll willingly share with anyone to help them achieve their running goals. We also have fourteen licensed UK:Athletics coaches on hand to offer advice and training plans.

The Club meets every Monday and Thursday from 7.15pm at <A HREF="http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?f=q&hl=en&q=52.4213,+-1.9420+(Bournville+Harriers+%40+Rowheath+Pavilion)&ll=52.421306,-1.942005&spn=0.009867,0.026951&t=h">Rowheath Pavilion</A> on Heath Road in Bournville, south Birmingham B30 1HH. We welcome people of all abilities and have a range of informal running groups to meet all standards. Just choose which group you want to run with depending on how lively you’re feeling and how heavy your legs are each week.

Our members compete in both road running and cross country races throughout the UK - from the National Cross Country Championships to local fun runs. We also stage two of our own races each year – a 10K run through Bournville and Northfield in September and a Yacht Handicap event at Christmas.
<p>
And it’s not just about running. The Club has a lively social side with events organised throughout the year. Come along and see if you’d like to join us.

Club Sessions

Monday
Club run. Usually a couple of distance options to choose from - four miles up. Groups of similar pace tend to run togther. Routes available on club website.
Thursday
Reps session. Rotated to work on strength, stamina and speed. Session details available on web-site.
Saturday
Cross-country session at Cofton Park. See website for more details.
Sunday
No "formal" club session, but usually lots of us out and about. Ask around at club!
