The 15th anniversary shirts and vests are now available for pre-order. If you'd like one (or more), please can you place your orders before the end of July*, as I'll be sending final numbers to the manufacturer on August 1st, and they've promised to have them with me by the first week of September.

I've made some minor adjustments to the design, and also introduced a black version of the shirt. But before you scroll down, a word on the garishness...
Yes, I get it. They're garish
Back when I first produced a design for a Fetch shirt, there didn't seem to be a lot of 'out there' designs in the running world. Fetch shirts stood out because of this. The colours were manic, and the design was all about having fun, rather than trying to fit in.
We wanted the 10th anniversary shirt to stand out, and I think it achieved that. If you look at the photos from the Bedford Bridges Challenge on the weekend, you can see that they really do! So (sorry Sharkie) therefore, I hope you'll go with me on this - but I'd totally understand if you decide it's not for you.
In this version, I've made a bit more room on the front for those of you that want to get your names added to your shirt; and I've made some adjustments to the back, so that it looks less like a football shirt (although, tbf, most sport shirts have numbers on the back these days, and 15 is more akin to rugby than football, just sayin'). I've also added a black 'away strip' version for those of you that want to blend in with the crowd
I'm chatting with Ron Hill Specials too, because I want to see if we can eliminate plastic from our packaging. Previously, each shirt arrived in a clear plastic bag, which I then put into another bag for posting. So I'm hoping we can do something more along the lines of cardboard sleeves. I know that tech shirts contain synthetic fibres, but if we can eliminate the packaging, that's hopefully a step in the right direction.
Feedback on the shirts welcomed
EDIT: If you're interested in a shirt or vest, please join the following group: fetcheveryone.com/groups-view.php?id=1294 and I will update you as soon as we're ready to take pre-orders.

Followers of the podcast will know that we did some camping over the weekend - the night before Katie and chums did the Bantham Swoosh.
It occurred to us over the weekend that it might be a nice thing to have some sort of mass Fetch camp next summer. A campsite near a nice bit of water perhaps. Some of you could run round it. Others could swim across it. The rest could just sit nearby and drink tea and eat pie.
The idea of an organised Fetch Festival is something that came up several years ago, but unfortunately didn't make it into reality, perhaps because it was fabulously ambitious! I'm imagining something a good deal simpler.
We'd all book into the same camp site on the Friday, and have some sort of big round-table pow-wow in the evening. Those that aren't hung over could do the nearest parkrun on the Saturday; with (if we get lucky or plan wisely) a local race on the Sunday, or if not, a nice trail that we could do some non-competitive loops round. Those who want to swim could do so under their own steam.
The venue: somewhere central.
The date: some time in the summer.
That's about as far as the thinking went.
What do you think of that?

If it doesn't clash with Blokefest or some other family event booked in advance then I would attend. If you decide on a hostel.. I went to the a singing event where they booked the entire coalbrookdale youth hostel near Telford at a ridiculous cheap price but then it was February.No.1210:46pm, 9th Jul 2019

Swimming lake - country lanes nearby for running and cycling and camping on site..... there was a half marathon that used to run from Bosworth (Hinckley Half) so plenty of space and facilities.... and there must be a parkrun close!10:31am, 10th Jul 2019 -

A great idea. I’d suggest a bit of outsourcing. Rather than us presenting a list of names of places to you, I think you have enough to firm up the requirements. Then we Fetchies need to get on the phone to our suggested places and find out if it meets the requirements. Perhaps an article to record results and prevent duplication of effort. As with the miles, location is never going to be satisfactory for all.Nightjar8:50am, 12th Jul 2019
-
Yeah, as Nightjar said. E.g. Sam J suggested getting a local some hill running bloke or whoever it was to come do a talk. Great, but then Sam J or someone else to organise. Like with work socials, what I find too is don't try and please "all of the people". Just get a core of you and 10-20 of your closest Fetchie pals, do it somewhere you like, but with flexibility to be bigger. Then let others join in and add to it? It seems that there some issues with Garmin yesterday. Several users reported that their runs had failed to make it across to Fetch, but also to other sites. This all points to some issue with the export from Garmin going wrong.
Based on the volume of data we're receiving from Garmin today, it looks like things are back to normal. It's also possible that they may yet send across any runs you're missing.
But there is a way to manually export and import your training, which is useful for any missing runs. Here's a link to the instructions:
fetcheveryone.com/feedback-faq-garmin.php
Any issues, give me a shout via the 'Help' link at the top of the page.
EDIT: Comparing yesterday to the previous Sunday, it looks like it mainly affected users who would have synced their watches between about 9am and 2pm.

I noticed that yesterday morning Garmin released an update to their Android app, so it's likely they've stuffed something else up in the process. I downloaded my gpx file and uploaded manually, hopefully when it later tries to push it through, it'll be identified as a swap rather than load it again.Sigh10:36am, 1st Jul 2019

I've used that method to import from Garmin Connect, although I use the GPX option which doesn't require any unzipping, but I find it doesn't import HR data.Flatlander
Sigh, I noticed that Garmin Express Install when I eventually tried to upload about 5pm yesterday. I wonder if the very recent GE update had messed up things and the Install was a patch?11:28am, 1st Jul 2019 -

Finally got the manual upload to work - instructions are fine, I was just being too impatient. Fortunately, it was just one run that was missing, and that long enough to stick out if garmin sends it again once they’ve fixed what they broke...beebop10:20pm, 1st Jul 2019
