Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

paul87 A brilliant race for me personally. Two minutes off last years time and a minute off my PB. Went out quicker than expected and managed to maintain it. Really chuffed with the result and banished some demons from the final stretch of the marathon last month.

Fitz A massive one minute off my 4-year-old PB so naturally I'm delighted. Started at a good on-target pace and felt comfortable throughout. Had enough in the bag for a breather around 5k and again around 7, then a good push to the finish.

A very well organised event, thoroughly recommendable. Funnelling the runners through a narrow gap BEFORE the start is a genius idea. My only gripe was with the water stations - too small, and I completely missed the first one at 3k cos I was too busy shouting encouragement to Jo Pavey coming the other way! đŸ˜†

mystique100 Very well organised event. The route was very familiar to me, so no surprises and i could gage my pace easily without looking for the race distance markers. Would definitely do this event again next year!!!

Footpad Another well organised race. Toilet queues were a bit of chaos but negotiated in the end.
Prefer the original route as I love the embankment run.
A 9 second PB :-)

IAmKat A well organised run but I prefer the old route, the river view is more inspiring than the buildings. That said I smashed my planned time so very happy indeed

Columba Course was very congested in the first 2 - 3 kms - at least where I was starting, in the 10th wave out of 12. Other than that, no criticisms and will probably do it again next year. Can't comment on parking/transport; this was London, and I used public transport.
