PhilTordoff Almost perfect. Caught Stan at 8km and ran with to 25km. Upped pace to 7.40s for last couple of miles. Felt strong all way through.

Zippy 123 I did finish in under 2:45 - based on the finish line clock - honest!!. However, I guess I need to go with the published result...boo hiss! On the plus side it will be a bit easier to beat next year...AND it was a PB!

Girlie Going to mince round with WW, anything under 3:30 would be fine:-) ***Update** Ran with WW until around 22k, when I seemed to pull away from him. RW strategy worked very well for me, although more walking in the final stages as the hills were hillier! Was completely spent and knackered afterwards, nothing left for any kind of sprint finish. Happy with time, although I know I could have done better, had I had more training recently. Fab to see so many Fetchies old and new there today:-)

DeeGee 2:59:56 is what the finish line clock said and I'm sticking by it! Not as hilly as I feared, actually, able to keep a decent pace going (for me anyway). Good to see Fetchies before the start too! Sprint finish as well! Sorry to whoever I surged past at the end to try and make it under the 3 hour mark!

Lethargic Great cool temp, but some dificult underfoot conditions, snoe/ice on the smaller little used tracks. ten k splits 35.10 37.35 36.45. Great race, hard,hilly, hurts..

Running Caz Felt quite good for most of this until the last 3M. Really pleased with splits. Was, as I remembered a very 'rolling' course but took it very easy on inclines. Had a brief walk at 25km on the incline and then back into it. Had to stop to pick up gloves and hat that I hid and then found the run up to town pretty hard but stuck with it. Remember last year I was flying through the town (not sure how accurate that memory is). This year I got up the incline but then had a brief walk before making myself continue and I had a mate in my sights. Field almost finished me off but made it to the finish 4mins faster than last year, making this a p.b - well done whoever bet on me :-)

Ultra Sparkly Bridget (USB) Will try not to go off too fast this year! UPDATE Still went off too fast but kept it going much better from last year. Let DeeGee beat me on the line as we both tried to beat the clock to the 3 hour mark. I'm sure we did but the offical time is 3:00:13 including 25 seconds to cross the line. A HUGE PB :-)
