Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Ricardo Maybe it was too soon after Manchester, but its all part of the training. Started off feeling brilliant although my leg was a bit stiff from flooring. In the end I realised I'd set off too fast and the undulating course and rather nasty hills later in the course did me in. I managed to run / walk the last 7 or so miles on my poor jelly legs. Still managed a decent time considering.

Tim of Fife I wasn't really 'up' for this today (possibly due to the drain of emotion from my beloved MK Dons' promotion the day before). Nevertheless, I went through half-way point pretty comfortably in 1:52.05. As to the second half, perhaps the least said the better. I hate running in the warm! Anyway, over the final 1.2 miles, I found some energy from deep inside me somewhere and broke through the legendary 4-hour barrier for the first time in my life.

Fitz Quite a warm day for it but water stations had bottles, so easy to carry supplies around and drink when needed. I was making good progress until half way when the pain from MN took over; could quite easily have quit but persevered. Great Fetchpoint featuring Lord and Lady Fetch in person!
