Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Warndog Was very windy over there, but pleased with the result based on what level of training I've been doing. Started off a bit too quick, and went into marathon mode (7:40s) at approx 10 miles. A less gusty day, this course is a definite for a personal best. Very flat, quick course.

AJPAR Very windy, especially miles 2, 3, 10, 11 & 13. On for a pb after 10 miles, but the final 5km was very tough into the wind.

Vicksta Not a bad run considering a) 5 months since having a baby, and b) the wind. How was it always a headwind?? I only remember one mile (11-12) with a tail wind! Nearly lost the wll to live when turning into the wind again in the final mile!

brotherjohn Bloody hell that was windy! Did pretty well up until 10, but the strong headwinds in 10,11 and 13 finished me off, so a slow finish. But pleased with the run overall in the conditions, because I absolutely hate it when it's windy, and boy was it windy today! 15th and 1st M50

MrMarcus Pre London marathon tester aiming for PB / 6:45 pace. Provisional time, 90 minutes 18 seconds, very happy with that in very windy conditions, not a flat out effort either so good enough. Bodes very well for London.
