Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

LiamS76 Great fun, especially sprinting the last 100 metres. Delighted at under 7 min miling as 24hour training means no speed ! Running under the stadium to chariots of fire was cool and bursting onto the track was brilliant, a bit emotional strangely

wAckie Racer Olympic Park Run - 460th runner out of the first 5000 to cross the finish line in the new Olympic stadium but a bit gutted that I didn't PB. Had to run sub 6:49 minute miles to PB & ran 6:38 but the distance was long at 5.23miles , but a great never to be repeated experience :-)

theraithrover Fantastic experience to run on THE track. Just as good was the excitement and anticipation as we were about to enter the stadium with the 'Chariots of Fire' music resonating around the concourse. Very happy with my time too. A great day, if a bit chilly.

Mark J 🇳🇿 A definite PB here, my current was set with little or no training on a very hilly course. It's the first event at the Olympic stadium so what the hell, lets go for a world or Olympic record while we're at it. (snigger, snigger).

Girlie Would be rude not to attempt a PB while finishing on the Olympic Track!
Not sure if it's going to happen now with ongoing knee issues, but will see what happens

***UPDATE*** Ran with my clubmate, we stopped to take photos at every building with the little bear we were taking round for her reception class. Most enjoyable run and the atmosphere in the stadium was incredible. Loved every minute, especially running on that lovely track:-)
