Fitz A beautiful day for it, clear, sunny, windless but not too hot. Crowds not as dense as I had expected for a 40,000-runner event. I went out aiming for 3:50 and dead flat pacing; it went well until the last few miles and I'm happy with my time given the run-up consisting of a holiday in Crete and all the bullshit coming down from work while I was away. Definitely a PB course on a nice day. Criticisms? Expensive at €98, no t-shirt for that money, and Expo-collection of race numbers is an un-necessary drag.
