Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

DrBob Very windy, but didn't feel too hampered by that. Need some speedwork as legs wouldn't spin any quicker than they did today. Should be pleased as I haven't raced for months, but got beaten by a lot of people.

Flat Out Fi That was the windyist 10k race I've ever done! At least it didn't rain though. No prizes today, lots of superfast girls there, think I was 3rd fv35, 8th lady overall. A good turnout from Striders today!

Vindicator Set off for 45 minutes but as I spent most of the race running diagonally to allow for the wind, this quickly fell away on the return from Pebmarsh where the cross wind was more in your face. Only failed to go under 46 minutes due to the XC section that was the field.
I am NOT dissapointed though as after analysing my Garmin upload, my finishing speed was very good considering current fitness and conditions. I overhauled many runners in in the final 2 Km and was overtaken by NOONE in the second 5K. A vast improvement.
