Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Mr. K. Started a bit too quick, knew the heat (19C) would slow me down. Only 49 sec outside my best - not bad as more undulating the Draycote Waters. Good race & nice medal.

Windsor Wool ran well through the 7 miles but legs suffered thereafter; hope it's a hangover from the man flu of the last week. Disappointing - roll on Reading.

clairevmc Weather was really really warm and sunny. Had my sunglasses on for the first time this year. Got a PB of 47 secs which I'm really pleased with. Think I started off too fast though - going through the first mile in 5.59 and then 6.10 for the next and 6.20s or so up to half way. Dropped the pace a bit as it got warmer and slightly hillier then picked back up to goal pace of 6.30s but couldn't quite hold on and get back all the time I'd lost. Feel I could have run a bit faster if I'd paced it correctly - struggled a bit in the heat (15oC and considering it was snowing at home 7 days ago, no wonder I was hot). Think I was 9th female.
