BigChiefRunningBore PB - yah je suis improvamont! decent race ok course - bit narrow towards 7-9 miles. wind and rain held off. saw lots of friends past and present. Went for it at the gun 6.22 was too quick really settled to 6.50ish, slowed from 7 miles and didn't enjoy it til last mile. getting there! My time 1:08:59 , offical chip 1:09:00, Gun time 1:09:20 - now I have to do it again!

Caterpillar Bit of a catarstroff on the pacing. Got a bit spooked by the Garmin beeping prematurely at each mile marker, and got scared I might finish a Garmin 10 miles in the predicted 1:22:00 and still have quarter of mile to go. :-) Ran the last mile much tooooooooo fast. So stopped for a bit of larking about near the finish, but it got a bit silly so I had to finish. LOL!

Hills of Death (HOD) Not in tip top shape and it showed. Poor run - Got to 5 miles at 37.20 mins so you can guess the rest. Did a quick first 3 and felt comfortable. Then started to feel it after half way Hit 10k about 46 mins so that was reasonable given the circumstances. I set a PB it was a PB stopping and walking break I counted 7/8 that's about 3 mins there !! I guess I'm just not fit to carry that pace out for 10 miles was my first PROPER race for about 9/10 months. Another day hey

Jonny Started off running within myself at 7.20m/m & then brought it down to 7.12m/m to 5 miles. Felt good at 5 & put in a 7m/m. However, at 8 miles my legs went & struggled very slowly in to the inish even walking a bit.
