sonicp Cold has delayed training schedule by about a month. First time doing Gt Bentley. Cold day but light wind. Quicker than expected but pulled muscle in my left buttock! Hamstring too tight?

Tom Tom Strange...I ran under the clock in 1.31.07, but they have my chip time as 1.31.10. Just sulking really, as I didn't manage a PB :P Brilliant race, though, and much better conditions than last year. Unfortunately, I got a stitch at 9 miles and never really clawed it back from there :( New 10 mile PB of 1.08.39 though, and I won county bronze in my age category, so not throwing too many dollies out of my pram ;) Apologies to those that bet on me, though. I tried!!*edit* Changed it to chip time, now official results are up ;)

Vindicator A nice new PB, but mile 12 killed off a 1.31.xx time with a 7:15 mile and destroying any finish I could have mustered. I so would have liked to get the flat 7:00 mile. Next time, but it is going to hurt a lot!

EarlyRiser 22nd Jan. I've entered this against my better judgement. :-) Even so, I don't want to miss an opportunity this good (unless you're all lying about it being a flat fast course!) POST RACE: time estimate only, but will be another PB, if only by 20 seconds or so. Found I had the strength and endurance today, but not the basic speed over the last 5k to make the difference. But that's ok, I'm not in training for this distance yet. A very nice race! Well-organised and tasty cake. Good to see a few folk.

Ticker Official chip time 01:41:29. First 6 mile went like a dream, but I really had to push after mile 10, and the finish on grass made my tired legs feel even more sluggish. A PB of around 15 minutes can’t be bad! Great race and perfect conditions. Well done to everyone who was there.

Mylo Half marathon debut for me in preparation for FLM, aiming for a steady pace rather than flat out. Finished within 2 secs of my prediction - very happy with that and I would have thought I could go a fair bit quicker next year.
