beginner1 First marathon. Last marathon????????? I did it. Walked a fair bit between mile 19 and 20. Otherwise few seconds towards end. Rebecca ran last 2 miles with me, which was great! Very pleased with acheivement considering few long runs. Sort legs and kneees only. Feel great, really!

Foxy Great event, great course, struggled & had to recalibrate my goals a few times but got the job done a couple of miles on the far side of lake & then along the Trent were rather blowly !

Gasheader fHilly first half in 1hr42min expected a negative split . did not feel i was running well till mile 16 then hit the wid in face at 18 .just made sure i finished under 4 hrs. Disapointed not to post better time but feel fit to fight another day.

MAD Superman Felt really comfortable at 6:35-6:40 pace until I hit the gale force winds at M21 ont he rowing lake, which added several minutes on. thuginasuit Over the moon to finish having not run for two weeks. Pain in achillies after about 6 miles took pain killers at 11 miles and went on auto pilot for the second half. Now i know i can do it.
