Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Cheeseman75 Awesome race, even though I was cutting it fine to arrive in time for the race to start. Had not even had chance to get to the loos. Never mind. Brilliant course and great atmosphere. Was really lucky with such great weather. New PB from today, so will be adding this to my calender for next year.

Domestic Goddess Fabulous race. Perfect weather cool, but sunny and no wind. Lovely running through Liverpool centre and parks, then all along the Mersey promenade. Never expected to get sub 2 with the small amount of training I've done, but only felt hard in the last 3 miles.

McNewbie Apologies to all those who bet on me!! Easiest route of the 3 Halfs I've done, nicest weather too probably, but aches/pains in ankles/calves kept me much slower than usual, and it feels like a huge achievement to have finished despite the pain! Some issues with race organisation but a lovely day out, great way to see an amazing city, and excellent opportunity to meet more Fetchies :)

Ojo Chip time. I thoroughly enjoyed this race despite going the wrong way at the start, which added just under a minute on :-p

Weather was perfect, there were cheering locals and a nice goody bag.

Peter Mc Managed a quicker time than I had predicted, very pleased with the result as it's a PB!, actually its the first time I've raced. I started off at a god pace but started to slow at about 7 miles but still kept it at a steady pace. The crowd were fantastic with many of them applauding me which helped to lift my moral and most importantly my pace. Official chip time is 1:35:42, I came 457 in my gender position and 40th in my category position. How brilliant is that for a first timer?

Spally Race was harder than I thought. The only minor things I would say was that the water station at mile 3 ran out of water and by the time I finished there were no T-shirts left, luckily the info van had a couple of spare.

TheJackal Changed Prediction to 2hrs due to Calf injury last Saturday that has now cleared up.
The weather was great and my calf was ok and very happy with my time. Kept at a steady pace as i did not want to blow out at the 8 - 10 mile point.
