Barney Rubble Decided to enjoy this race, so stayed with Dino69 for the first 10 miles then i headed off for the last 5k alone.

Bignose Felt a bit under the weather, had a cold. Found the race quite easy as i had a time tape, was like running 1 mile 13 times. came in just ahead of my target time. brotherjohn Well, a lot better than predicted! Good run today, held form well until the incline the second time around at mile 12. A lot of runners seemed to find it quite challenging today, so happy with my time 1:20:08. 26th place, second in class, but new Saucony running shoes for first 2 in class, so no complaints:-)

Sarah64 This will be my first attempt at a half marathon, so really not sure what time I will finish it (if I manage to finish it). I do 10km in about 1 hour 6 minutes so I'm guessing I could take as long as 2 hours 45 minutes to complete this race. There's a 3 hour time limit on it so I HAVE to be quicker than 3 hours!!! I'll definitely be the one at the back. But I'll still be smiling. :-)

stu8 after a week and a half recovering pulled ham string held out which i'm chuffed about race didn't go so bad so happy all round :D felt the last few miles but hadn't got long runs in so was expected - as for race great conditions sunny and cold also like the new route definite PB potential under better circumstances - ps the apple at the end was gorgeous!!!

true blue Rain stopped just before the start and the race conditions were almost perfect. The large puddles on the small country lanes meant everyone bottle necked in the middle of the road, but after 5 miles the field spreadout. First 10 miles felt good but last 3 were hard due to lack of endurance training, missed a PB by 25 secs, but know that with proper training should get well within it on this course.
