DrBob Hope I can turn up fit for this one, it would be nice to get a season's best for 10k on the last day of the year! IN the event, was a bit disappointed with the time, but it was quicker than previous efforts and probably indicates that I'm in reasonable shape to start the 2010 season.....

swerver This was my first 10k when I did it in 2008, really enjoyed and is still my current PB. If no injuries then hope to break 44 mins and sign off the year with another PB PB !

thorneygeoff A great race - well marshalled and superb atmosphere. However, it's a great pity that the dog walkers of Little Downham can't clear up the mess left behind by their dogs!

Vindicator Crap run. Been ill over Christmas (excuses) and still not fully 'right' with HR+10BPM on yesterdays run (more excuses). Set off according to race plan of 1st KM 20 seconds above pace (downhill) then keep 4 min/Km as long as possible. Running in to the wind bit in to my chesty lungs after the first Km and was never the same. HR ~186 when running 4.15 - something not right, so slowed. KinkyS caught me on the final run in to the line but I did the gentlemanly thing and allowed her a free run in, especially as she said she was on for a PB at that point. (I have to admit that the thought of outsprinting her did go through my mid when I saw her on my shoulder...)
