Smoggy Hoping for PB and time around 1:30:00. training has been going well. have tosee how conditions and I feel on the day!! Weather was freezing and course was hilly!! Enjoyable run but disappointed I didn't run a PB, hopefully just an off day! Sorry to those of you who put a bet on!

DeeGee You know when you seriously underestimate your abilities. I started at what I felt was a comfortable pace, found it was fast, but carried on regardless. Only by mile 11 did I decide to go for the PB, and that was because running within myself put me bang on target. So, despite the cold, and the hills, I've only gone and PBd it!

GDownes Happy with this - took a minute out of my PB and almost 6 mins out of last attempt at this course. Love the countryside in this race and a few tough hills, good sharpener for a spring marathon.

Naomi P PB attempt Woohoo - 1200 bets already!! When does the gun go??? OMG, 2900 bets?! Very pleased I made these good, I would have had to deregister otherwise..... Had a good race, hills were tough and I had to remember how to race hard (haven't done it for a few months) but I got the 8 min/mile average and came over the finish line to collapse on my face. Must stop doing that.......

Pigtailgirl I found this race (my first half) much easier than I thought, the hills were not nearly the mountains of my mind. I enjoyed it until mile 11, when the whole race became about seeing mile 12 and the bloody thing being over!
