Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Not totally sure which three you mean. Ive done Hanley which is in a nice park and has a hill you slowly have to work your way back up twice (nothing major).

Trentham Gardens is supposed to be lovely but I havent done it. It was cancelled pretty last minute when I went so thats how I ended up at Hanley!

I saw Hanley, Bramshill Road and Ashbourne Recreation Park as the 3 closest I think but please correct me if I'm wrong! Anyone ran any of those?

Aha, I remembered you can do a parkrun search like this fetcheveryone.com/races-map.php?latitude=52.9905&longitude=-1.894&address=ST104DB&maxtravel=30 so it’s probably Bramshall or Ashbourne. Both look like 3 lappers on paths and grass.

I've done Ashbourne Recreation Ground. I picked it for convenience rather than because three laps of a recreation ground sounded nice but it was actually a really pleasant run, a mix of grass, well-made paths, open fields and a wooded bit, and just undulating enough to be fun without being brutal.

As mentioned the other day, we will be at Dunstable Downs tomorrow, tagging DocM and Hills of Death (HOD) , might you be there? Wish I had thought to tag you both sooner!

100th event at Bower Park this morning. The team hoped for at least 100 runners (last week they had 21) and got 108, which is fine because they've only got 130 finish tokens and didn't have a plan for what to do if more than 130 runners turned up.
