That’s a shame about Henstridge Airfield, I’d hoped to visit in December when we are next down that way.

I’m Tail-walker at Ayr this week, for my 100th parkrun. It’s only taken me nearly 9 years!

WayOfTheDodo nice one, congrats. Took me over 8 years to reach 100 and 9 years later I'm still 6 years or so from 500 :-)

All being well my first parkrun in October will be my 300th at my home run and 330 in total. All in Scotland too.

We didn't have any parkruns up here in the NE corner until Aberdeen started up in 2011. We now have 6 within 20 mile radius, all very different.

We were similar in Cumbria. None when we moved here in 2011, 8 within a 30 minute drive now.

Only 3 within a half hour drive from this part of Cumbria - with the longest established having started in October 2014. There's 'soon' to be a fourth, I understand (though given the delays to that one, I'll believe it when it happens) and maybe three more if I extend the radius to 40 minutes.

Much to people's surprise I went to school in Falkirk and know Cally Park really well. They could have made the parkrun much harder :-)

Oops only been 3 times

I've watched parkrun grow from only Bushy. It was a 120 mile round trip from home back then so I was never a regular.

Got involved more in the early ones outside of the M25.

Only done 49 in the last 5 years, only volunteered 6 times and 4 of them were this year.

Current local is nice and MrsG wants to do more so it may pick up but I find 9am starts a little late.
