Cardiff park run is flat and fast. I've
never done it and never will but my cousin is approaching 500 park runs on this course and loves it. Often 800 plus participating. Enjoy Cardiff Dillthedog

Thanks Steve, have been for a bit of a recce round the park, make sure I know which way it is. Might be flat, but certainly won’t be fast for me
I must add that the campsite is excellent, right near the centre of Cardiff, next to Sofia Gardens cricket ground, loads going on, no wonder it is always booked up.

I put this on the wrong thread first time, so apologies to anyone who has already seen it.
list of places we have stayed near parkruns. More details on request. We walked to most of the parkruns, I have indicated those with a short drive.
My very first parkrun was Conkers, about 1km along the canal from the Moira Furnace Folk Festival. But there is also the Conkers Camping and Caravanning Club (CCC) site and Conkers YHA even closer.
Delamere, from Delamere Forest CCC
Newport, from Tredegar House Country Park Caravan and Motorhome (CMC) site
Edinburgh, from Edinburgh CMC
Poolsbrook, from Poolsbrook Country Park CMC
Shrewsbury, from the West Midlands Showground campsite when we were at Shrewsbury Folk Festival (the campsite is open even when events are not taking place)
Kirkwall, from the Orkney Caravan Park.
Bressay, from Bressay Marina Caravan Park.
Rother Valley, Waleswood Caravan and Camping Park
Forfar Loch, right next to Forfar Lochside CMC. We haven't managed a parkrun yet, only a couple of Freedom Runs, the first time before it was a parkrun!
Vogrie, from Lauder CCC (drive)
Cirencester, from Cirencester CMC
Strathclyde Country Park CMC
Clumber Park CMC
Quaker's Walk, Devizes CCC (drive)
Whitley Bay, Old Hartley CMC (drive or bus). Also handy for Blyth Links - going back in May)
Crosby, Hidden Corner campsite, Maghull. (drive) Would also be convenient for Croxteth Hall (drive)
Rendlesham Forest, Sutton Hoo campsite (we were not there on a Saturday unfortunately)
Irchester Country Park, Treetops campsite in Sharnbrook (a strange little site, more details on request) (drive)
Talkin Tarn, Herding Hill campsite or Haltwhistle CCC (drive)
Jubilee, The Green Tree pub carpark, Spennymoor. No facilities when pub closed (drive)
Lanark Moor, New Lanark car park, £3 for 24 hours. No facilities once the Mill closes. (drive)
York, Manor Farm campsite. Across the road from the racecourse.

Also this one. I pass this on the way to Marple parkrun.

It is about 15 minutes walk to the parkrun, along a track to avoid the main road. Or a few minutes to drive
There is a notice on the outside about motorhome overnight parking. I haven't stayed myself but some people on the Small Motorhome Forum liked it.
