Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

But it's almost a kg!! I can buy a 2 man tent that only weighs 700g... (or <1kg if I want to sit up (and save £200)).

jacdaw Great to hear. I packed mine to test the fit and it feels good in terms of materials & assembly and comfort.

I'm probably going to get a Nanu & hip belt for a new run commute packed too. They should ve available again next month I'm told.

A 2 min post-edit function would be really useful here.

I have an event in July and deciding on camping having found space is restricted in my car with rear seats folded down and legs inserted into the boot!

So, I’m looking at a 2 person tent or whatever they’re called to rest up in before and after the race. I’ll be on a dedicated campsite with water and power plus amenities. Budget around £100 I have a camp bed that I could use, a sleeping bag that I will use. What else will I need ? There’s hot food available but would like to brew up the morning after😁
The last big camping trip was with a mate driving all the way to France , he was a scout leader and totally in his element of course. I on the other hand took care of the alcohol consumption for both of us, most of the holiday being a blur🤣 But do remember the first night of setting up a large tent in biblical rain on a random site and next morning moving to another site because we almost floated away 🤣
