Both parkruns around Gothenburg have plenty of good campsites, I haven run any of the parkruns yet thogh.
Maybe not nearby but you said world :)
And if anyone ventures over the pond you can camp at my place to :)

Cleethorpes is, of course, the answer everyone was thinking of. The campsite is along the same beck that runs through the park. I think you can see the showground from the first bridge.

Market Rasen also meets this requirement, but doesn't also have the world's biggest chippy.

Not all the caravan sites allow simple camping folks, though ;-)

Although this one does witchescraig.co.uk - warmup distance to University of Stirling parkrun

Mrs Smokfree is running the Brighton Half Marathon in February. Seeing as we're pretty much spending every spare night away in Nellie (the camper) we looked looked for a nearby campsite.

Well LordyMe, there's a site almost within view of the start/finish.

Not only that, East Brighton Parkrun is literally next door to the campsite! So I'll be doing that before cheering Nicky along on the Sunday.

Another recommendations for Parkruns with campsites close by around this count...
