The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

New one popped up near us last week, very quiet start
parkrun.org.uk
Can't say the course looks inspiring, 3 loops of the big field, 3 loops of the small field and another 1 1/2 loops of the big field, all alongside the M25!
Sure I'll pop along soon though for an easy to tick off NENDY

StuH, just note the ambassador for that parkrun posted on various tourist forums urging people not to flock there in early weeks as the course won't take high numbers and the car park isn't very big. Might want to leave it a few months.

I'm in no hurry, I may even be able to incorporate it into a long run once the mornings are lighter.

There may be an inaugural parkrun happening near you. Best to check with the local parkrun volunteers to see if they want you to know about it or not.

Otherwise there are plenty of already established parkruns to go to in the UK and abroad, see: parkrun.org.uk
