Leazes for me this weekend. Hope my cold goes away so I can give it a proper go! Currently watching the 'Scottish parkruns' YouTube channel from when they did all the Scottish events in 2018. It's really making me want to go and do some more touring north of the border.


Have looked and if my son ever decides to do a parkrun again I think he should do that one as he's recently started at Newcastle university and would be able to virtually see it from his accommodation block!

Have said to him one Saturday I'll get up early, go and do a parkrun in Newcastle and surprise him...

And now I've looked more Town Moor and Jesmond Dene are nice and close too.

I see Henstridge Airfield has finished. A shame as I liked the course, very flat and unusual.
Also a big gap in that Somerset/ Dorset area now.

Not quite lack of volunteers, but they wanted to step down and there was nobody to take over ED (apparently there are particularly difficult requirements due to land owners)

Although I think struggling for volunteers was part of why they wanted to step down so I guess it does all come down to that
