WayOfTheDodo it took me over 10.5 years to get to 100 - after a slow start and getting to 25 after 7 and a bit years I've increased my rate of parkruns quite a bit!

Not my speed at parkruns - my first on 3 November 2012 remains my quickest..

Sadly I'm no way near it but still slogging away, which is the main thing and one can live in hope! ;)

I was planning to run my 360th on my 60th birthday on my home turf but I will be in Manchester on my own so I will jig about with a couple to make it the week after with friends somewhere

My current self could probably give my 2009 version a good race at parkrun 1. Sadly then I was on the way up and now I'm on the way back down.

I’m not running anywhere near as fast ( not that I was ) as I used to be but I no longer stress about it.

Prompted me to check. The first thing I noticed is that four parkrunners share my name. One has my surname for both their names. Another has my forename for both names. And one has my names the opposite way around.

Anyway, first parkrun in 2009 was 19:33 and the course was found to be short. I ran 19:18 back in May which was my only time post covid return faster than that debut. In fact most of my times have been well over the 20 mark.

All of my times have been well over the 20 mark (the vast majority have been over 30 minutes 😃)

I'm off to Alton Towers at the beginning of October and hoping to fit in a sneaky parkrun beforehand. If I’m not mistaken there are 3 within 30 mins. Anyone have any knowledge of the possibilities?
