Not a parkrun, but I was in a Dobbies yesterday. Various scones, £2.90. Post 2pm, it's two creams scones for the price of one, £3.99.

Interesting, Dvorak :) That's barely more than the price of one empire biscuit :-O

(Never much fancied the look of Dobbies scones by the time I've got there. Possibly because there are various cake options that appeal a long more.)

A spin-off from the general parkrun café thread, to prevent it being congested with scone chat.

I attended Pollok parkrun (Glasgow) today. The café afterwards is in the Burrell Collection (art gallery doesn't really cover it). The first thing I espied were the scones. However ... £4 :-o For a scone! I cannot comment on its quality as I certainly wasn't paying that price.

Scones being a widespread, maybe nearly ubiquitous, item at post-parkrun cafés, I thought that others...
