Just catching up a few weeks worth on this thread. Mrs Jigs (Luverlylegs) just seen your post from last weekend. Dunstable is one of our locals but I was a few miles west at Wendover Woods with a bunch of chocolate brownies as it was my #400. If I'd read this earlier I'd have invited you across. This weekend we visited Eindhoven parkrun and have now travelled across the border for an "extra" parkrun in Dusseldorf on Tuesday

Junior Parkrun marshal earlier, always good watching the weans 😀

Our wee four year old neighbour made it all the way without stopping!

I was on finish tokens at juniors today.

Our first finisher almost got taken out by a dog, but managed to hit the brakes just in time.
Another runner seemed most upset that they had to stop after 2 laps, and clearly wanted to go round again!

This evening’s Antiques Roadshow is at Roundhay Park, the name made me perk my ears up even though I’ve never been there :)

I ran parkrun the day they were setting up at Roundhay Park on August 5th - we had to weave around the trucks but was okay in the end

Nice, Ally.

Cornerstone Lakes for me this weekend, near Chicago. It will be their 24th running of their event, but 2 coach loads are going out there, of parkrunners who are in the city for the marathon. Last Saturday they had 11 finishers and it’s very easily going to be by far their biggest turnout, but the person organising the coaches has been in touch with the RD and they are expecting a big turn out, saying they could accommodate ‘many hundreds’ if need be. RD gave advice for a place for breakfast afterwards too, and a room that holds 80 has been booked for that. Really looking forward to it, probably more than I am for the marathon (that’s because my training has been very, very poor, but we shan’t dwell on that!).

Presuming all goes to plan with logistics etc, it will be my 50th different parkrun location, although it wasn’t planned to be by like that, it’s just how it’s worked out.
