About Me
I write a running blog called RedWineRunner: redwinerunner.co.uk ---- I finished the West Highland Way Race. I'm fairly sure nothing will ever be the same again. 28:57:54. ---- 2015 - It's all about the West Highland Way. Triple Crown will hopefully follow in August, with a visit to Berlin for a GFA attempt in September. 2014 - sub-4 marathon acquired. Spring 2014 sees D33, Highland Fling, Cateran 55, Great Glen Ultra. Oh, and a wedding in there too. Glenmore 12 hour race in Autumn. 2013 - Big Spring races are D33 Ultra, Paris Marathon and the 53 mile Highland Fling Ultra. Going for a sub-4 marathon in the Autumn. 2012 - After a shonky performance rife with injuries at Loch Ness I decided I was better built for ultras and gave the D33 a go in March. Came in 35mins earlier than my goal and was delighted! Looking forward to another ultra later in the year and a second improved attempt at marathon. 2011 - Been running for about a year and a half now after catching the bug badly after running the Baker Hughes 10k in 2010. Done several 10ks and made the switch to half marathons in Summer 2011. Registered for Loch Ness Marathon 2011 and can't wait!!
