they'll have to do a darn sight better integrating all the threads of data before I'd consider giving them a penny! Stupid app 'knows' so much but applies little of it to its recommendations

Fitness Age fun and games again.
Yesterday my Fitness Age was 55.5.
Today after completing a 20 minute threshold run with 10 minute warm up and 10 minute cool down, that Garmin told me I should be doing to increase my speed, I find out that I've aged by 18 months and my Fitness Age is now 57 plus I've reached my "target Fitness Age"

Well it might be less pretty but it’s a good sign that I’ve hit “productive” as I ramp up the training to pre-cheat infection levels and rebound to a reasonable level of fitness.
Oh, and this despite my running VO2max dropping after my first run back this morning.

Got a minus 3 on my performance condition this morning, 10 mins into my run. Only the second time I've had a minus number. To be fair, I did have a Covid jab yesterday, I feel OK but my RHR is a little higher than normal.

Back into a disconnect with the various stats today.
Ramping training back up after being ill so "Overreaching" is understandable. I've had a couple of weeks of almost nothing so I'm above the green channel for a while until the averages catch up with the actual normal levels.
Recovery 58 hours: "It's good to take it easy today".
HRV Balanced: "Your body is handling the current training load well".
I've read that the recovery calculation should be taking into account HRV but clearly it doesn't take it into account enough!
(And I know that my situation isn't a typical one, but it's also not unique.)

Mine appears to know something isn’t right - RHR, low HRV, high stress, poor recovery, poor sleep, and ‘strained’ although I’ve not done anything for 3 days. So from that it should know something isn’t right, I think? But of course it’s recommending a tough interval session today, that I’d struggle to do even when fit Due to all that, it seems such a basic thing for it to recommend ‘rest’ or at the very least say ‘if you do go out, take it very easy’. That doesn’t need AI, does it? But it still recommends this stupid session.
I only have it on to see what it comes up with so I can laugh at its suggestions, but I can’t ever see me paying for the new service when its current recommendations are so bad.

mine says productive, although am drifting towards the bottom end of the green zone. Status says low aerobic overage, need to balance with more high aerobic etc I am well recovered etc.
The 'coach' plan for the next week is all base.

Mine is predicting me a 3:43 marathon... that would be amazing, but very unrealistic!!

Here's a new one, last night's 'sleep' was so crap that my Garmin didn't pick it up! I do feeling quite shockingly tired today. Gonna take it easy.
RHR 42 BB 43 HRV unbalanced
Vo2 max 47 'superior' Training 'productive'
