Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Sigh
Here's my last twelve months of (1) Fitness Age, (2) BMI and (3) Body Fat - the change in the latter being the move from Garmin Index 1 scales to Garmin Index 2 scales:

Basically, if I can keep my BMI below 25 then it's better than it's been for the whole of my adult life before last summer - which is a better assessment than 'fitness age'!

My Garmin says that I've been astonishingly inert today. Body battery of 98 or more from 13:45-15:03. Hit 100 at 14:18. HR of 46 at one point. I'm not entirely convinced. (I was actually awake!)

Fragile Do Not Bend
My HRV has been on a steady upward trend for a couple of weeks and has now gone Unbalanced (top end of range). First time it’s been that high since I got the watch in November.

Thinking about it, that upward trend roughly coincides with me starting Slimming World. I guess having to burn more fat could be a ‘stress’ on the body.

When I did six pack revolution my HRV went up massively

It included no caffeine and alcohol which is what I put it up to!

That’s interesting Pix. My caffeine and alcohol haven’t changed on the diet - I drink very little alcohol nowadays and only one or two coffees a day.

Fitness age was 44 until November and it went up to 45 - my birthday was in November. History shows mine just sits 9 years below my actual age.

Delighted to report my training status is peaking , handy as I am racing tomorrow :-)

About This Thread

Maintained by EvilPixie
According to my Garmin this morning my body battery was at just 41 and I was "strained"
I have been strained for most days in the last 2 weeks
My body battery has also been low

So today it suggested a threshold run of up to an hour!

What's your Garmin say?
