According to my Garmin this morning my body battery was at just 41 and I was "strained" I have been strained for most days in the last 2 weeks My body battery has also been low So today it suggested a threshold run of up to an hour! What's your Garmin say? |

I only use my Garmin as a watch or for when I run. The rest of the time it's switched off, I don't think any of the other functions are of any use to me, it's just making assumptions which I think are useless. I've noticed that stats on fitness watches can fuel needless anxiety for some folk. |

Oh I ignore it most of the time but being hard of hearing I wear it 24/7 as it's my alarm

My FR245 often tells me that a run was "productive" or not, as the case may be. But then Garmin Connect will tell me the opposite, that it was "impacting" my aerobic or anaerobic fitness, or not. Hmmm. The only stats I pay attention to are the basic stats of time and distance, pace, and hr (and maybe elevation climb but without an altimeter that's notional at best) and my use of all the fancy functions is pretty much limited to run/walk, virtual partner, and programming intervals for when I occasionally do them. I've never bothered with stuff like counting my steps, tracking my sleep etc. In between runs the watch sits on its shelf. But I do keep an eye on the beers earned calculator. |

Mine says I'm absolutely lovely ... no, wait, that was eL Bee! when I gave him a cup of tea in bed. Garmin says I'm OK-ish and this week it seems to have punted my weekly mileage target up by 25% without discussing it with me. I think it may be trying to mimic working in the NHS.

haha sounds like it vrap! In the last 2 weeks when my body battery has been low and I have been strained or unbalanced I've had no suggested rest days, 1 recovery run and lots of speedwork or some sort or another This leads me to think that Garmin don't believe their own data! |

My garmin didn’t recognise me going to bed the other night. To be fair, it was 4.30am and I’d been drinking fizz and whiskey. I also found out the body battery doesn’t go lower than 5 🤣🤣🤣 we even went for a run to see if I could flatline it the next day….. 🤪 I’m currently maintaining. It got very excited the other day when my HR monitor had a hissy fit and thought I’d done some kind of proper training rather than low effort running. It’s back to being disappointed in me again now 😀 |
