Hi guys. Weighed my "weights" on the kitchen scales last night after I did my "Day 1" cos I thought they were a bit too heavy. They are 1.5kg each. Is this tooooooo heavy??? Should I have gone for the tins of peaches (they're a bit too big for my hands to go round and was frightened I'd drop them out my sweaty mitts)? Might have to invest in something better. The excercise when you hold it out away from your body I had to use 1 "weight" but 2 hands on it.

Depends I guess on how you're finding them Bluebell - I have just bought some 4kg weights as I wasn't finding the 2kg ones heavy enough. Maybe I'm just some musclebound maniac or something!

I do know that I have good upper body strength though - its the legs I have problems with.

Shredding again tomorrow morning - doubt I'll have time to fit it in after work today.

I do also spend a lot of my time hoisting a 25 pound toddler around which must help with arm strength!

Definitely worth taking it easy melar - hope you're feeling a bit better

Bennifer
Well I have done 6 days in a row of Shred and have moved up to level 2 today. It wasn't too bad but does involve way too much 'plank' for my liking! So far I am no thinner and no more toned but miracles don't happen in just 6 days so I shall persevere!

I have my eye on level 2 Bennifer... his nibs has requested we stick at level 1 another week - to be fair I think that's a good plan - I dont think I will EVER get the hang of the press ups though!

Ref weights - I think my purples are probably 4kg - I can do everything (in a fashion lol!) except the last one where your bringing the weights to eye level, have to drop back to soup tins on that one

I think once pay day is here I will get a 2nd set as I think it's worth mixing the weights, use the heavier one's as you can and dropping back

Oh and I am also impatient for results, I can definatley tell in my general running taht it's well worth adding this into my weekly routine though

Me too - I've still got my cold and the cough isn't shifting, but if I do Shred at least twice a week it's got to be better than never.....
