Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

About Me
Hated running when I was at school. I just couldn't do it and didn't get what all the fuss was about - definately not a natural. After having kids I decided in January 2008 that I was going to do the Great North Run - and that's how it all started...

Quickly became addicted, and so now I love it and couldn't imagine life without it - even though I am still not really any good at it (slow and dodgey knee and hip).

Running has now become my "me time" when I'm not "Mum" (of boy 10 and girl 7) or "the missus" - I'm just me - and I quite like being me. :) cow kiss

Aims for 2011: 1,000km (621 miles) matching miles for £'s in aid of Diabetes UK http://www.diabeteschallenge.org.uk/challenge/melwarwick-trampsabout2011, 2:20 HM, stay injury free, maybe a tri next year??

Aims for 2012: Just enjoy it.... Then I got a golden ticket to do the Great North Run for the Stroke Association!! justgiving.com

Aims for 2013: Get over knee injury

Aims for 2014: get round to doing those races on my to do list, but never got around to or have clashed with GNR timing, so I must remember to not enter the GNR and enter the Cumberland Ale 10 and /or Dumfries Half and maybe a further afield half like Edinburgh (among others!). Would still love to try a tri...

Aims for 2015: Get over hip injury caused by doing too much last year, do something a bit more way out.
