FRU - 4kg?!!!! Jeez, how the hell do you do that! I did level 2 yesterday and it was ok but I enjoyed the familiarity (and ease?) of level 1 so this morning I got up early and decided to go back to level 1 - which I did - and then carried on to give level 2 another try! I 'enjoyed' level 2 a bit more today and some of the exercises made a bit more sense so I shall stick with 2 for at least a week and on days when I am not running I shall endeavor to do level 1 & 2 together. I have to say that I am really enjoying the challenge and I really CAN tell the difference in my stamina. No visible difference yet and no significant weigh loss but time will tell...

Takes pictures and measurements!
We can't always see the differences in the mirror and are our own worst critics.
Plus inches/fat can come off in some unexpected places!

Forget what it says on the front of the cover, 30 shred is about losing FAT not weight.
You can stay the same weight but be smaller :)

Started again tonight and had went into the 2nd level to have a go. I'm really struggling with the jumping bits as my foot is really starting to play up again :-( Still mangaged the other bits but didnt get as much of a sweat going.

My neighbour and I timed it at 27 mins too :-0

I need fat loss - I have some great muscle tone hidden under a layer of fat!! MeLAR - I allow 30 mins for the workout because I was caught out the first couple of days and didn't allow enough time without making myself late for stuff. My legs ache now so level 2 is obviously working some new muscles :-)

Measurements is a great idea, I am such a lazy sod I always intend to do that but never do.. all I know is that trousers I got pre-christmas which "just" fit (if I breath in and jump up and down to pull them on LOL!) are fitting "better" - progress ;-)

I think I need to try level 2 this week - today's was a crap attempt - I was shattered this morning.. couldnt do the press up's at all! My attempt was weedy in the extreme!

Still.. habit being formed, and that in my world is the most important bit

Yes.. and me too in the OMG I am late cos it's slightly longer than you think!

Did day 6 yesterday & it is getting easier. This evening I have managed to persuade a friend to try it with me. I'm hoping she'll be hooked as well then we can push each other towards the next level.

Something must be working though. I managed 40 push-ups at tae kwon do on Saturday. My previous record was 25. So my arms are getting stronger.

Now I just need to work on my biscuit addiction!

Day 8?? I think! Got it over and done with at 8am - that is a time that seems to fit my day quite well, I start as soon as my son leaves the house to catch the school bus and am finished with enough time to have a quick shower and get dressed before walking Dolly to school at 9am. Level 2 was much better today even though I ached from yesterday - I considered doing level 1 as well but decided not to push it otherwise the aching will put me off tomorrow! I went for a nice fast dog walk instead. I have not measured but I have this pair of shorts..... I did take a photo of me wearing the shorts (or trying to!) as a 'before' photo and will do another at the end but am not convinced that even after another 22 days (!) of this that they will do up comfortably - time will tell...
