Today's Shred is done but it was hard work. My butt muscles ache, my leg musckes ache (yes, all of them!) and most of all, my shoulders ache! No pain no gain?

Sorry to hear you're still suffering MeLAR, I think doing the strength and abs stuff is a good call. It will make an impact on your running when you are able to get back to it as your core will be stronger and more stable. It's not failing or cheating to be selective, just good sense not to knacker something completely. Besides its still hard work and calorie burn so well worthwhile doing.

I skipped mine today in favour of a long run. My abs are aching today too so its definitely making a difference, I'm also noticing an improvement running hills, must be all the squat type exercises. I think I pulled an ass cheek though!
Back on it tomorrow.

OMG - level 2!
The following words were used (close ears if easily offended! )
"She is a b*tch" "jesus christ" "grunt" (several times)" "I CANT do that"
Overall verdict - brilliant brutal and advanced!
We've had a sweep on how many days till we can actually do it justice

hahaha FRU I had similar sentiments and after doing it for day 2 still do.
Its one hell of a step up but it feels like it is REALLY doing something to the bits its supposed to.
Don't think I'll be hitting level 3 in 10 measly days though, I might wait til I at least stop collapsing halfway through all the plank based moves!

Day 13 - up at 7am to do level 1 AND level 2 - get in!! I have also taken a photo to compare with Day 1 - there IS a difference! I have 'watched' level 3 this morning and am going to attempt it tomorrow. I will probably do one day of level 3 and then go back to level 2 for a couple of days before moving onto level 3 properly/. Seeing a visible difference is keeping me going - I LOVE it!
