Nephi Cold but dry and the ice had just about melted so not to slippy today. Tough but enjoyablle route with plenty to keep you interested. Undulating course winding through a couple of estates and out briefly into country Lanes. Two long hills with a mile long climb from 5 to 6 with a sting in the tail round the corner and a steady climb back up to the park along New Zeland Rd at the end. Broke 70% WAVA for the 1st time :) 5k 19:51, 10K 41:12 both of which are faster than my current PBs. 2 minute positive split but the updulations are in the second half so feel good about the effort I put in. lost a few places around 1/2 way when the glasses steamed up and I managed to pop a lens out trying to clean them on the run. overtaken by 2 with 300m to go and managed to reel one back in and beat him on the sprint in. offical time 1:06:37 Race No. 558 Garmin Time: 1:06:38 Position overall 85/693 M40 13/97

Minnie Mad I really enjoyed this race. It was sunny, friendly and well marshalled. I ran mile 7 in 8 minutes and 1 second which may be my fastest mile ever!

McNewbie Tough course, tough race, but am growing fond of this, no idea why, well, there is THAT goody bag ;) Really well organised, lovely supportive marshalls, with a stadium start and finish, and I do love a technical t shirt in the goody bag (they're sending me the correct size in the post, how great is that!). Aim to be back next year with proper hill training behind me :)
