Ally2 A small hermitage invasion.. PB attempt. Race No.20. Well no sub 33 but a PB nevertheless by 1sec with an almighty sprint around the footy stadium. Lost 1 battle to Lilley of Sheffield but beat Mcneill of Long Eaton- group I was with for all 10k. This sub 33 will need some work to it- or a pancake flat course without town twists. Weather was ideal though. Splits 1k 3:12, 3k 9:50, 5k 16:38 (18 secs down on desford), 8k 26:41 (12 secs down) 9k 30:04 with 3:14 last k. Felt strong throughout with near even 5k splits. Came 6th.

only2legs This is my first race since I've been injured on and off for 3 years. I've done maybe 2 months consistent training but I can't believe how long it's taking me to get my speed endurance back! I did this race a few years ago (albeit a different flatter course) in 42:06. Next year I plan to be back to PB form and from there world domination...ahah hah ha ha (evil genius laugh etc)!
