_andy Went out quite fast, and gradually got slower [mile splits of 5:45 5:47 6:03 6:05 6:11 6:13 5:33] - but chuffed to bits with a 38 second PB (with PBs for 5k and 5 mile en-route). Struggled with miles 5 and 6 a bit as the legs felt empty, but the heart rate was right up there above 95% all the time, which is maybe a better indicator.

Dvorak Good conditions, felt good through the race, hit target on the day of within seven minutes of PB. Like seeing so many Fetchies on the course in this one. One thing I would improve: Km markers in the right places.

FerryMichael Flat course, but enough twists and turns to add interest. km markers a bit out of place. 8th km very long. Great race - kept an even pace throughout without trying to push hard. Everything tight at start and still worried about hamstring.

FitterStu Weather was just about perfect. Cool but not cold, no sun light drizzle for some of it. Very steady pacing for first 4 miles. Sped up a bit in 5th and tried again in 6th but couldn't maintain it and had to slow to get rid of a stitch. Got back on good pace at end. 10K PB. Delighted really.

HappyTimes Race went pretty well all considered. PAce dropped little in middle miles need to look at that. Felt pretty good throughout though so decent day at office on the journey. :-)

silver birch What a brilliant race. Great atmosphere and fast course . Going nicely up to 7k and then it got a wee bit tougher between then and 9k . 2nd fastest time ever. Sorry Dvorak - missed PB by about 28 secs... :-( You can get ur money back at Kirkintilloch :-) :-)
