Hairy Legs Good race - well marshalled, not much traffic and lots of mile markers. Found it tough for the last 2 miles - but PB so can't complain!! :-)

Binks Was struggling from the start. Tried 2.20 pace but could not keep that up past 7 miles. Got slower as I went on.
Still a comfortable pb but still slower than my last marathon pace.
3 hours in Prague looks unlikely now.

Yellow Fang This is a race organised by my club, and a good job they made of it too. Excellent prize of a towel at the end. The only thing that wasn't great was the queue for the baggage tent. I set off and felt fine for the first few miles. I was surprised how quickly I was going. After about five miles it started to get harder with the hills and the wind. At around eight miles, I was wondering whether I was really going to suffer on the second lap. I started to feel ok again after ten miles. The first part of the course is quite quick. When I got to 16 miles I still didn't feel too bad. I started to reel in quite a few struggling runners in the last few miles and even managed a bit of a sprint finish. I was pretty pleased with my time.
