Well done Hibeedeb and Flatlander

September mile done as part of the September 5k.

6:14 same as last mont (also part of a 5k) and joint second quickest of the year (only a second slower than fastest that was a standalone effort)

Good luck those trying on Saturday maybe as part of Parkrun

Let’s see what October brings

September is over and there were 8 season bests and 4 PB's out of 22 brave folks who tried to burst their lungs, well done to everyone who had a go.
October will bring cooler weather and possibly better opportunities for some before the cold icy weather of winter arrives.
For all those that fancy another virtual mile good luck with your attempts.

I didn't get a chance to complete my September mile. Hopefully this month.

Well done everyone!

Unintentionally did my virtual mile this morning. Wanted to run but not necessairly as far as a mile. Walked to fetchpoint bug and then out of circle and then going to run home (which was less than a mile). Got near home and could see I was on for a PB. So kept going and now have a new mile PB :)

About This Thread

Maintained by Fenland Flier
For encouragement and general chat about the virtual mile challenges.

It's not easy pacing a mile race whether it's virtual or real, be it on track, road, grass or trail. Go out too hard initially and struggle towards the end, go out too soft and regret your finish time.

Use this thread to record your jubilation or allow us to commiserate with you.
