Well done MD!

I've just realised that the first mile in my 5k race yesterday was my fastest mile this year, at 10:05. I would love to get something beginning with a 9 again this year but I think it's likely to be an unfulfilled wish.

Well done for yesterday @LazyDaisy, I'm sure a stand alone sub 10 minute mile is manageable for you.

Mile repeats at club training tonight. 7:23 will do nicely.

Well done DocM :-)

Track tomorrow is a timed mile followed by Moneghetti session. So I'll have a crack at the mile again.

My legs were too shot from my 10K at the weekend so I dropped down to the 1 km instead of the mile. Will fit one in when I can!

Wasn't really in the mood, but it was on my schedule. A disappointing 8:51 in the rain.

Sometimes it happens @westmoors, there's plenty of month left to have another go.

You got out there and did it westmoors, and that sounds decent in the rain when you're not in the mood :-)

About This Thread

Maintained by Fenland Flier
For encouragement and general chat about the virtual mile challenges.

It's not easy pacing a mile race whether it's virtual or real, be it on track, road, grass or trail. Go out too hard initially and struggle towards the end, go out too soft and regret your finish time.

Use this thread to record your jubilation or allow us to commiserate with you.
