Well done, Ally-C, sub 22 is great.
I ran a 22:10 at the New Year's Eve 5k. Since then, I've been ill at the beginning of January so my training took a hit but I've been back at it for 3 weeks now. The local parkrun course is muddy AF so no fast times anytime soon. I can trudge around it in about 25 min but it's no fun. The virtual 5k might be the better way to get a fast 5k, unfortunately without competition. I'll see if I have the time next week or the last week of the month.

20.53 today at parkrun for me, a seasons best by over a minute. 20 mins still seems a way off (I might never get back there) but I am really going to try my best.

Great work, chunkyW! You're moving in the right direction.
I managed to get 22:18 as a part of a 7k race this month. I'm not sure I'll have the time to get a proper 5k attempt in this month but next month, I've got my first 5000 m track race coming up after the marathon. After that, I'll focus a bit more on 5k and 10k training until July.

Good one chunky! Similar feeling here - almost a minute faster than my best this year, fastest since May last year; I may still be more than a minute off my pb but it's moving the right way at last.

24:52 @ Heaton Park this morning. It's busy at the start and I started too far back but not sure how much difference that makes. Might be over 25 at Ipswich next week.
