Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

I agree with the longer warm up plus strides. I ran over 2 miles yesterday and I did 4x 100 m strides in the second mile. I went out of the gate all guns blazing 😁

Pleased with my parkrun this morning, particularly as it was 24 degrees C at the start. 24 minutes and 10 seconds and the fourth parkrun in a row where I have been faster than the previous week. Planning some short intervals this week (maybe 6*400m) at around 4:30 pace to try get some speed back.

Nice one, Mr d, well done!

I ran 21:51 in a 7k race. The next opportunity to run a 5k will be at the end of April so I'm looking forward to that

Yes, you understood what I meant, @mr d . I ran the first 5k in that 7k race in 21:51. I was really pleased with that because I hadn't run sub 22 since 2022.
