Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Excellent running, Ally-C and Mr d

13 days after the marathon, I raced 5000 m on the track and got 21:48, the fastest official time since 2016. I think I may have a shot at improving my PB from that season this year. I 'only' need to find 29 seconds to get there. With more targeted training, it could happen in May or June.

Cheers @tipsku

I even managed a 21.55 at a trail race a week ago 😀

I like WAVA thinking nowadays. My old PB may be unbeatable now, but I "only" need to do a 21 to get the same age-grade score :-)

Comeback PB for me on Saturday at parkrun 22:48, almost a minute faster than my previous comeback PB. I have been doing a 'long' run of around 15km a week and the previous Sunday was the first time since my hernia op last year that it was comfortable at the end and I didn't want to walk the last km or so. Nice to see some confirmation that my fitness is improving.
