LP Bit disappointed with time, wanted to be a little closer to my pb. But found the wind hard work and got stich after about 2 miles. Did pick up the pace agian after about 5 miles but then overdid it and really struggled in the last 2 miles.

Northern Exile Felt that I did OK at the Dewsbury 10k and could hold a 7.15 pace consistenly, so am going to go for broke and aim for 1.12.30 in this race. My prediction is 20 secs more though, I have to be realistic!

Mark_S I would like to beat my best time, failing that I just want to have a good run and enjoy the occasion. I didn`t have a good run and I didn`t enjoy the occasaion. I set off far too quick and by mile 3, I started to struggle, mile 4 was the slowest. I dug in and mile 5,6 & 7 were ok but the last 3 miles were too slow. Anyway, back to the drawing board. It`s a case of one step forward, two steps back at the moment !!

philbo First time I've done this race , and thoroughly enjoyed it , not sure about the start though, the marshaling was very good and plenty of them , a couple of smallish hills between miles 7-9 then a good blast for the last mile , a good day and 2.15 off my pb well happy .
