Dynamo Kev Had what I thought might be ambitious aims of sub 1:25. However, the reputation of Hastings as a hard course isn't really deserved. There's a long uphill drag from 3-6 miles but not very steep so no big deal. Other than that there's a few steepish (but short) climbs and some very quick descents, so a quick time here is definitely possible.

StringSideUp terribly undertrained, so went okay, considering. No knee pains or sore quads this time, either. Enjoyed first half; legs turned to concrete for remainder and final three flat miles seemed interminable again.

tigers Start line to finish line tim. really pleased with my time as I had only managed 2hr 13 in training. Legs felt more tired halfway after hills (59 mins at half way) but managed to make up time on downhill / flatter bit. Great race!
