EarlyRiser Hope to improve a little on last week's time, but still way off PB pace at the moment. POST-RACE. Missed everyone there today it seemed! Rush to get there on time for R's 3k. Big C&C turnout so afterwards spent chatting with club runners. Happy enough with time, it'll improve from here on in.

Gem* really really wanna make 48 mins! Sorry betters, failed to make 48, but am well pleased with time as it's a min off my pb! really hot race and i could well have stopped at 7 km, but of course couldn't lose face! :)

Girlie If conditions are favourable I should get a pb of some description here. If the gods are smiling on me the prediction should become a result ***UPDATE*** the gods weren't smiling on me at htis race:-( a stomach bug scuppered my pb attempt and I was lucky to crawl round in the time i did. Lovely, scenic course though and I'll be back for a proper go next year.

Mrs F Now have completed first 10k of the year on a difficult course in 1:02:13, will try and cut a few seconds off here and there and aim to beat the hour in the next 12 months! This is flatter but could be windier! Ok so bad week, but managed a PB, just forgot to turn gamin off as I crossed the line so hoping the official time is faster!

No.8 ™ A 38:02 getting straight off the bike from the 48.36 mile cycle there. First 3k was awful until the blood flow got going and the legs got accustomed to running.

Pingu99 Hot and no wind, difficult start with the loop of Little Close, too many cars parked on the road so verry tight getting eveyone through. Otherwise a great race big entry field (469 finishers) good course first 4K on public road, the rest Farm roads and grass track.

Slow Going I thought this was a PB, but not _quite_ given that it was my 1st run since London, and I've been ill all week I was monumnetally chuffed that I am clearly back to near the best I've ever been. Maybe if I train really hard I can keep up with John.

Smile2 amazed I pb'd as stopped 3 times and did not like the XC bit which seemed to go on forever..... it was such hard work I nearly got off..... sooo glad I didn't top result & loads of fantastic Fetchies..... beautiful day, lovely and sunny :) result was recorded 3 seconds slower ! still I guess you have to allow!
