In 2001, the Robin Hood half Marathon in Nottingham gave a framed example of the lace making for which town & city is famous.
The Yorkshire Wolds HM - not at all flat - gave handmade pottery mugs from the Fangfoss Pottery [not far from the race's route] bearing a year-specific pottery oval. I have seven.

GG, we are giving collapsible cups as race momentos at the next Wimborne 10 and Wimborne 20!
I like momentos that are useful.

I have some beer bottle opening medals from local 10k races. I have far too many race tees, have given quite a few away of the tech variety, but still have cotton tees from London 2013, Farnham Pilgrim 2013 and a more recent Richmond Park marathon. The Pilgrim one is a favourite.

Local knowledge required.. all being well I will be doing a tourist visit to Worcester Pitchcroft parkrun this Saturday. A couple of you tube videos seem to show a long out & back course along one side of the racecourse (unless my eyes are deceiving me!). However the course map on the host website shows it as 1.5 laps of the racecourse - which is correct please? My local parkrun is York (also on a racecourse) so I am obviously obsessed with them!
